Frequently Asked Questions

Day passes

Email MoonCityCeramics@gmail.com with your name/dates/time. Day passes cost £55 and come with a clay usage fee. Day passes are available on certain mornings from 8 - 12 am and evenings from 6 - 10 pm. You must be an experienced potter and use the clay and glazes we have in studio. This includes biscuit firing and a choice of 5 different glazes. If you wish to do any hand painting or glazing you will need to schedule another day pass. The turn around time for biscuit ware is one - two weeks. Depending on our membership schedule we can accommodate three people at a time but passes must be individually purchased.

Group classes

Our studio can accommodate smaller groups of 4 and for larger groups we have access to a studio space that can accommodate up to 30 people. We do need at least a month to organize any commitments. For scheduling and prices, email Mooncityceramics@gmail.com. If you are interested in classes be sure to check out Oxford Clay House for weekly ceramic classes. They have many opportunities for learning and it is a beautiful studio.

The Studio

We are located on the top floor of the Jericho Community Center. The studio can only be reached by a stairway. The community center is bustling with activity. The sounds of Improv, Shakespeare, ballet, tap dancing, opera, tango music, meetings and classical Indian dance can be heard throughout the day and into the evening.
